Christine McInerney, originally from Philadelphia, PA, moved to Knoxville in 1985 with her family. For Christine, it was love at first site with the beauty of the East TN mountains, lakes, and streams. Christine graduated from Farragut High School and then attended the University of Tennessee where she obtained a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Secondary Education. Christine then proceeded to graduate school where she got her Masters of Secondary Science Education. Christine is a seven year veteran of the Knox County Public school system where she worked as a high school Biology teacher.
Christine currently resides in Knoxville with her two daughters and a slew of rescued animals - two dogs and three cats. In her free time, Christine enjoys spending time with her daughters by taking advantage of the wonderful children and family centered activities Knoxville has to offer. Christine is also an avid biker and enjoys exploring the wonders of the East TN mountains and countryside on either her road or mountain bike.
